The first Startup Weekend Creative Business 2014 came to an end yesterday. We are very happy about the positive resonance and feedback we recieved from the participants. Although we have some winning teams of course, everybody was a winnerin the end - people made friends, contacts for business and collaborations and some ideas that have been worked on remain projects of their own, even after the weekend has ended. But now for the most exciting part - awards:
Workspace at ZHdK Incubator for 1 semester incl. coaching & infrastructure
goes to We worm you - a compost device with worms for your home.
CHF 1000.- to kickstart your idea
goes to The Galactic Senate - a project that aims at kickstarting an animation movie series that lets people interact and participate in it.
Coaching on fundraising by wemakeit
goes to Senzibar - delicious marinades for everything, soon to be tested in speciality stores.
Coaching/ taking part in Creative Commited at Creative Hub
goes to Waves - a fashion line who wants to produce clothes which looks great on people affected by scoliosis, but can be worn by everybody.
Congratulations to all teams & all the best for your future - we'll keep in touch!
Yesterdays party with DJ Sprutzzi was funky funky and now we're looking forward to post some nice pictures and movies - stay tuned. There is a facebook group for everybody interested in staying connected and we'll also provide a site on here soon to publish all the ideas who pitched last sunday.
Thank you all for coming - it was great to have you here with us. More updates following soon.
